The scientific-practical conference – Georgia is Europe was held by the initiative of the Georgian Dream – Entrepreneurs faction at Cinema Hall of Georgian Parliament on February 26.
The aim of the conference was to assess Georgia’s aspiration for Europe and discuss the historical background of the issue, existing challenges, and relevant recommendations.
The conference was hosted by Mr. Simon Nozadze, chairperson of The Georgian Dream-Entrepreneurs faction. Mr. Gia Volski, First Deputy Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia also greeted the conference participants.
The conference was attended by representatives of different universities and scientific circles, as well as representatives of Caucasus International University.
During the scientific-practical conference, the special reports were delivered by the following individuals: Professor Vakhtang Maisaia, Doctor of Political Sciences, Supervisor of CIU Postgraduate Program in International Relations and International Security; Ms. Tamar Kiknadze, Doctor of Political Sciences, Associate Professor, Supervisor of CIU Undergraduate Program in International Relations and Doctoral Program in Political Sciences; Mr. Levan Nikoleishvili, Vice Dean of CIU Faculty of Social Sciences; Mr. Beka Managadze, Ph.D. student of CIU Program in Political Sciences.
Mr. Alika Guchua, Assistant to the Supervisor of Postgraduate Program in International Relations and International Security, actively participated in the organizational issues of the conference.
