Academic personnel of Caucasus International University Faculty of Social Sciences have been working on postgraduate program Multimedia Production and Research for almost a year. The format of the last working meeting was different. The aim of the joint online conference with western colleagues was to improve the program.
The representatives of famous German Media Organization Deutsche Welle Academy shared their European experience with the lecturers.
DW Academy has strived to increase the qualification of TV-radio as well as new media journalists since 2004. It is the leading organization in Europe in the direction of promoting independent media systems.
Long experience as well as the tradition of Deutsche Welle is a guarantee of quality for journalism and high level of media competence.
Mr. Zaza Tsotsniashvili, supervisor of undergraduate program in Journalism, Ms. Irina Ghvineria, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Ms. Rusudan Kvaratskhelia, Producer of Multimedia Center, Ms. Ana Jnaikashvili, Multimedia Center consultant and Ms. Anjela Abuladze, Quality Assurance Service Coordinator became engaged in the conference on behalf of CIU. Deutsche Welle Academy was represented by Christoph Schmidt and Lina Friedrich.
Both parties have identified prospects of cooperation in several main directions, within the framework of online conference, including: business visits, consultations, joint conferences and invitation of lecturers which will serve to sharing the best German experience and eventually to the improvement of postgraduate program.
Students will be admitted to the above mentioned program from the new academic year.
