Aims:

• Strengthening the management capacity of the administration of Georgian general educational institutions to ensure a positive, organized and safe environment in schools;
• Empowering the possibilities of school teachers with innovative technologies and methodologies in teaching and learning.

The following significant issues will be discussed at the conference:

• Developing collaboration between public and private schools in Georgia to establish a unified academic space;
• Promoting the development of professional relationships between teachers in different regions of the country and encouraging activities by sharing the best practices;
• Encouraging research activities in general educational institutions;
• Implementing modern technologies in the educational process of secondary schools, exchange of experience;
• Topic and school – sharing experience;
• Using technologies in public school management;
• The role of administration in creating a safe learning environment at school;
• Principal, as a school leader in establishing innovative methods and technologies;
• Principal, as a school leader in the process of achieving and maintaining high professional standards in teaching and learning;
• Introduction of international experience in school management;
• Safe school – current challenges and offered solutions;
• Bullying at school – sharing examples of timely prevention by the administration and teachers.

Requirements:

• Presentation of conference participants – 10 minutes, debates – 5 minutes;
• Single meetings and parallel sections will be held;
• If a participant submits more than one paper, priority will be given to a paper with high standards and which is closely connected with the conference concept;
• In the case of co-authorship (no more than two authors), a paper will be presented by one participant only; The names of both authors will be indicated in the published abstract.

The following individuals can participate in the conference:

• Public and private school teachers of Georgia;
• School principals;
• Representatives of administration;
• Graduates of the postgraduate program in Education Administration;
• Experts of the general educational system; who study general education system based on conference aims and listed significant issues.

Notes:

• Conference topics are unlimited due to the conference aims and the significant issues listed;
• The conference organizing committee is entitled is decline an applicant with incomplete documentation (abstract, personal data –filled-in application form);
• It is not required to submit a complete paper in advance.

Abstract and paper has to be formatted in the following way:

• An abstract should include title, formulation of the issue, its significance, research novelty, goals, objectives, research methodology, the value of expected research outcomes and practical application.
• An abstract should not exceed 500 words.

• Significance of the issue (How important this issue is for the education system. You can use surveys, reports, recommendations, etc.);
• Innovation and creative approach;
• Research novelty and potential contribution to improving practice;
• The technical validity of the work (the abstract should be written in an academic language, the subject should correspond to the content of the topic, the parts of the abstract should be coherent).

• Formatting rules for an abstract and a paper: Text font – Sylfaen; size – Title – 14 Bold, main text – 12, spacing – 1.5;
• The conference paper should include an expanded version of the issues covered in the abstract and the bibliography;

The conference participants will be awarded the Caucasus International University certificate.

Important Deadlines:

01.11.2019 – Deadline for submitting the application form and an abstract;

12.11.2019 – Applicants will be informed about the abstract evaluation results;

30.11.2019 – Opening Ceremony of the conference.
