Davit Kukhalashvili, head of National and Corporate Security and Training Research Center held a public lecture on the topic: Role of intelligence Activities in National Security and International Relations. The event was held at Caucasus International University on April 10, 2019.
The speaker palced emphasis on operative actions having intelligence tint from the recent history of Georgia during the lecture. In addition, he highlighted the role of intelligence services in planning domestic and foreign policy of the country. Mr. Kukhalashvili discussed the types of intelligence including political, economic, military and sceintific-technical intelligences. Besides the above mentioned issues, the lecture refers to such significant topics as: elements of intelligence activities in various countries; creation and use of psychological portraits of people by intelligence services; open and hidden means of gaining information; main characteristics of the obtained information (timidity, perfection, reliability) and others.
The second part pf the lecture was held in teh form of question-responces. Students became interested in significnat issues of intelligence and received competent and overwhelming responces from the speaker.
The pblic lecture was attended by students, representatives of administration and other interested individuals.
