Another event was organized by Career Development Service and the Faculty of Law within the framework of Law Week on March 21, 2019.
Davit Churghulia, Deputy Head of Tbilisi City Hall Internal Audit and Monitoring met CIU students on the topic: How to Become a Lawyer in Public Sector?
The presenter introduced to the audience the functions and main directions of the work. In addition, he placed emphasis on the current internships offered Tbilisi City Hall and in general, employment criteria in public service.
“There is no ideal public service, however the job that is oriented on providing maximum service to citizens is near to an ideal.
The main priority for employment in public service should be honesty and longing towards common kindness. The public servant has a duty and then a certain right” - stated Davit Churghulia.
It is noteworthy that Career Week envisages five thematic events which assist students in choosing specific specialties and planning their career.
