Przemysław Żurawski, Polish Professor, Polish President’s Advisor delivered a public lecture on the topic: Main Challenges of Euro-Atlantic Security and Strategy for NATO Expansion in 21st Century: Polish Experience for Georgia on February 14, 2019.
The professor placed emphasis on current political and economic processes in Europe. He discussed the most important projects in energy, which besides economic significance play a key role in regional security. Furthermore, Mr. Żurawski highlighted the role of Poland during the formation of Euro-Atlantic security and Georgian perspective in this direction.
The second part of the lecture was interactive. Students became interested in significant issues of modern international politics and received interesting and detailed answer from the professor on these problems.
The event was moderated by Mr. Vakhtang Maisaia, supervisor of CIU Postgraduate Program in International Relations and International Security. It was attended by undergraduate students of the program in International Relations, Postgraduate students of the Program in International Relations and International Security, doctoral students of the Program in Political Sciences and the representatives of the administration.
