The Championship in Mock Trials in Criminal Law organized by Young Criminologists Group and Your Advocate was held at Tbilisi City Court from January 12 to February 18, 2019. A team made up of Caucasus International University students of the Faculty of Law (Eter Chachua, Nino Chumburidze, Mariam Bochorishvili, Vazha Shubitidze, Giorgi Khuskivadze, Tamar Dzimtseishvili) participated in the championship alongside other teams.
CIU students managed to win at the final trial as well, after three successful proceedings. Giorgi Khuskivadze, CIU student of the faculty of Law was named as the best lawyer.
It is noteworthy that during the trials CIU team was representing both a prosecutor and a defense.
