Mr. Giedrius Puodžiūnas, the Ambassador of Lithuania to Georgia paid a visit to Caucasus International University and met the University Rector on December 19, 2018.
The Ambassador conducted a public lecture on the topic: Why EU and how Lithuania Changed After Becoming Part of EU for students of various faculties and majors who were gathered at the University Conference Hall.
Mr. Giedrius Puodžiūnas placed emphasis on achievements, economic growth and progress from May 1, 2004 up to present which was achieved by the country after becoming a member of EU.
A strong and growing economy, increased data of GDP (Gross Domestic Product) per capita, a high rate of foreign direct investment, significant advances in science and education – as stated by the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania these are the current achievements of his country.
