Public and Private School Principal and Teachers’ II National Scientific Conference

Public and Private School Principal and Teachers’ II National Scientific Conference Was Held at CIU Public and Private School Principal and Teachers’ II National Scientific Conference has been held at Caucasus International University for the second time. School teachers, principal and about 100 representatives of educational resource centers became engaged in the conference – Use of Innovative Educational Technologies and Approaches in Teaching Process. 78 presentations have been grouped in accordance to field and topic by the decision of the organizing committee and eventually they were divided into seven sections.

The sections of Georgian Language and Literature, Foreign Language, Chemistry-Biology, Informative Technologies, Math, Principal, History-Geography and Secure School were offered at the II National Scientific Conference held on December 8, 2018. Mr. Kakhaber Kordzaia, CIU Rector, Ms. Nino Chubinidze, Vice Chancellor, Ms. Marina Gedevanishvili, Head of Quality Assurance Service and Ms. Sesili Gogiberidze, Head of Scientific Research Department greeted the conference participants and attending audience at the plenary session.

Caucasus International University representatives briefly introduced to the participants of II National Scientific Conference the implemented projects and future activities which are considered as the priorities for the universities. In addition, they discussed the innovations in the direction of supporting scientific researches and technologies in the nearest future. Following the plenary sessions, the conference participants were distributed in the appropriate sections. They presented in front of the other presenters of the section such topics as: Creation of Educational Digital Games and Their Use in Teaching, Secure School – Current challenges and Ways of Solvation, Motivations and Ways to Boost Motivation, The role of Informal Education in School Education, etc. At the conference, after the completion of the work, the teachers, principal and the representatives of educational resource centers were able to visit the University material-technical base, laboratories, Centre for Clinical Skills and Multimedia Center, meet the faculty Deans and their representatives in order to obtain detailed information concerning each faculty and educational program. It is noteworthy, that student mentors together with the university academic personnel became actively engaged in this process. We would like to remind you that Public and Private School Principal and Teachers’ Scientific Conference has been held at Caucasus International University for the second time.

The aim of the conference is to facilitate the formation of joint academic environment between public and private schools in Georgia; to stimulate teachers’ activities, to share mutual collaboration, knowledge and experience and to connect teachers’ research activities with real market demand. Towards the end of the event, the participants were awarded certificates at CIU Library. The Committee representatives of each section awarded certificates to the participants.
