Five meetings for students and individuals interested in the topic were held from December 10 to December 14, 2018 within the framework of the Career Week. The events were initiated by Caucasus International University, Career Development Service and Faculty of Medicine. Professor Mamuka Nemsadze, Obstetrician-Gynecologist, Professor Lali Mekokishvili, Dermatologist, Mr. Teimuraz Mikeladez, Pediatrician, Mr. Guga Kashabidze, head of Tbilisi Burns Center, Plastic Surgeon and Mr. Bidzina Kulumbegov, Allergist, CIU Assistant-Professor delivered presentations for the attending audience. The representatives of various fields of Medicine discussed their professional choice, qualification, interests and challenges.
Each doctor gave concrete tips and recommendations to students within the frame of the Career Week, including constant self-development; close contact with local as well as foreign colleagues; love of chosen profession; professional and friendly team; As stated by the university Career Development Service the above mentioned project will continue in 2019 and other faculties will also be engaged. The aim of the initiative is to assist students in choosing particular professions and planning their career.
