Ms. Lali Mikeladze, supervisor of Tourism Program and Ms. Eka Devidze, founder of non-governmental organization Tourism and Reality together with the students started to implement an event planned as the result of the project Revive Tradition within the framework of the memorandum signed with Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation.
Two important activities were held within the frame of the project: students, together with their supervisors, met Gigla Chincharauli, a poet living in Sagarejo Municipality, village Verona on December 2, 2018. Students gained comprehensive and interesting information about the village and its name. Gigla Chincharauli thanked students for expressing interest towards the history of their country and traditions.
Caucasus International University and European University students visited Verona for the second time, based on the information that they had obtained about the village, in order to conduct further studies. They visited the village within the frame of the project on December 8, 2018. The students had interviews with locals, describes the current condition of cultural monuments, level of infrastructure and marked ways for tourist itineraries.
We would like to remind you that the specific events and activities connected with the project are planned in details by the organizers and they will be implemented in 2018 as well as in 2019.
