Third National Conference of Public and Private School Principals and Teachers on the topic: Facilitating the Introduction of Innovative Technologies and Methodologies in General Educational Institutions was held at Caucasus International University on November 30, 2019.
The conference was opened by Kakhaber Kordzaia, Caucasus International University Rector. He placed emphasis on the significance of the conference and wished the participants success. Ekaterine Dgebuadze and Nunu Mitskevich, Deputy Ministers of the Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Georgia and Sesili Gogiberidze, Head of Scientific Research Department of Caucasus International University also greeted the audience.
At the conference opening, Irma Tatishvili, Nino Metreveli, and Dali Mindiashvili were awarded the diplomas of gratitude for their active cooperation with Caucasus International University and support.
About 70 speakers made presentations at the conference and they worked in the following five sessions: Principals; Humanitarian Subjects; Natural Science and Technical Subjects; Foreign Languages, Aesthetic and Physical Education; and Safe School.
The goal of the National Conference of Principals and Teachers is to strengthen the management capacity of Georgian general education institutions to ensure a positive, organized, and safe environment in schools; to increase teachers and principals’ potential to use innovative technologies and methodologies in teaching and learning; to develop cooperation between schools in order to create a unified academic space; to encourage research activities in secondary education institutions; to share experience in implementing modern technologies in the learning process; to discuss modern management technologies of public and private schools, etc.
