Workshop – Multimedia Literacy Held at CIU

The workshop – Multimedia Literacy was held in CIU Multimedia Centre within the framework of International Science and Innovation Festival 2018 on September 24. Media and communications in modern world, the experience of working with the camera, how to make a story and safe behaviors in the social network – this is a short list of issues that were introduced to the group, made up of 20 11th and 12th grade students who are engaged in journalism circle (Media Studio Time) of Youth National Palace, by CIU professors within the framework of educational program. It is noteworthy that on September 24 a photo exhibition of second-year students of the Journalism program was held in Multimedia Center TV studio. The photos taken by the students within the framework of the academic discipline Photo Journalism were exhibited. The participants, trainers and the members of the organizing group were awarded special certificates towards the end of the workshop. We would like to remind you that Science and Innovation Festival has been organized by the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia since 2015. Caucasus International University is also actively involved in this year’s festival, which started on September 22 and will last until October 1.
