Ketevan Gorgiladze, the representative of Caucasus International University to Spain met students and the administration of the Faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking on October 9, 2019.
During the meeting, the emphasis was placed on such significant issues as current projects/programs between Caucasus International University and Spanish wine cellars or universities in which the students of the faculty of viticulture-winemaking can become actively engaged. Federico Oldenburg’s visit was also highlighted at the meeting which is scheduled for October 23-27 (Federico Oldenburg - Laureate of the Spanish National Prize for Wine and Gastronomy, author of books recognized as the best wine guides).
“We have achieved agreement on the Undergraduate Program in Winemaking with Burgos State University. CIU student who decides to have Burgos State University diploma in Winemaking will be recognized all the credits s/he has already received, will study half a semester at Burgos University and receive their diploma, along with CIU diploma. In addition, there are other directions of collaboration, including studying at any program of Burgos State University with the status of “Guest Student” – stated Ketevan Gorgiladze.
Madona Muchiashvili, postgraduate student of the Caucasus International University Program in Viticulture-Winemaking discussed a month's experience which she has accumulated during an internship at Spanish wine cellars. It is worth mentioning that together with Giorgi Kenchiashvili, an Agrarian University student, she was the first student, who had internship at Spanish wine cellars in the direction of bio viticulture with the support of Caucasus International University during vintage. She became a Burgos State University student.
