Public Lecture: Tourism Statistics in Georgia Faculty of Business and Career Development Service of Caucasus International University organized a joint event dedicated to the World Tourism Day on September 24, 2018. Giorgi Bregadze, Head of Research and Planning Department of Georgian National Tourism Administration visited CIU in regard to this day. He conducted a public lecture “Tourism Statistics in Georgia”. Despite the difficulty in receiving, reviewing, comprehending and analyzing statistical information, the lecture was quite interactive. The speaker reviewed the tourism statistical report of Georgia on the basis of multi-components. The characteristics of international visitors, aim of a visit, popular activities of tourism, structure of expenses, etc. were emphasized during the lecture. CIU students of the Faculty of Business attended the event dedicated to World Tourism Day.
