Mr. Vkhtang Maisaia, Supervisor of Postgraduate Program in International Relations and International Security at Caucasus International University had business trips in Poland, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Austria in October and November.
The professor conducted lectures on security theories and issues of national security for undergraduate and postgraduate students at Saint Cyril and Methodius University in Bulgaria. The lectures were offered during three weeks within the framework of the University exchange program.
Vakhtang Maisaia discussed military strategies at the Military Academy and participated in the international conference organized on the military challenges existing in the 21st century.
A public lecture on the asymmetric military threats in Black Sea region and the mechanisms for fighting against it was conducted by the supervisor of Postgraduate Program in International Relations and International Security at Skopje State University in Macedonia.
Vakhtang Maisaia presented the analysis of the geopolitical processes in the Middle East – in Afghanistan and Pakistan and planned collaboration with Pakistan Peshawar University in Poland. The collaboration will move into an active phase in the nearest future.
As for CIU Professor’s visit in Austria, Vakhtang Maisaia attended the working meeting of South Caucasus Security of the Partnership for Peace Program as a member and advisor.
