The event “Future Leaders in Social Entrepreneurship” was held at Bakuriani Inn Hotel in Bakuriani on March 1-2. It was organized within the framework of the project “Building Back Better Through Social Entrepreneurship”.
This initiative, supported by the European Union (EU) under the #EU4Youth program, aims to strengthen young leaders in the field of social entrepreneurship.
The event was attended by young people representing social enterprises established in Georgia, as well as acceleration experts and mentors. They were provided with a unique opportunity to enhance their knowledge, refine their entrepreneurial skills and explore innovative social business ideas.
It is noteworthy that Caucasus International University “Business Incubator” student startup “Chako” (eco-friendly bag) participated in the project. It was among the 15 winners selected from 728 applicants and was awarded a €2,000 grant.
The team achieved this success after several months of intensive work, mentoring and acceleration, and the students at the Business Incubator were mentored by Ia Nadirashvili, a business mentor at the Faculty of Business and Technology and head of the Business Incubator.
This acceleration project once again highlights that young people have great potential in the field of social entrepreneurship. They are ready to change society for the better with their ideas and innovations, create sustainable and socially influential businesses and be the main driving force of change.
We would like to remind you that the spring intake at Caucasus International University Business Incubator continues until March 21.
