The President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili has awarded the winners of the essay competition “From Independence to Freedom - 100 Years of the Republic”.
The essay competition announced for students, professors and teachers was organized with the financial support of the president’s Reserve Fund. The event was implemented by Education and Awareness Raising Institute (EARI).
Caucasus International University Associate Professor and constitutionalist, Beka Kantaia’s essay has been named among the top 26 essays.
The awards ceremony was held at the presidential palace on August 24 and the president of Georgia awarded certificates and presents to the winners .
Students, professors and tecahers have participated in the competition. As stated by the organizers, in total 93 essays have been submitted. The top 26 essays have been selected symbolically in relation to 26 May and they were published as a collection. The book will be presented as a gift to libraries and higher educational institutions.
