Ms. Manana Bolkvadze, a Regional Coordinator for Cooperative Association, a member of Beekeeping Advisory Board of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia and a Director of Women’s Cooperative Bee Georgia will visit Spain under the auspice of Caucasus Trading House and the financial support of CIU on February 11, 2019.
The visit will last for six business days and it will include such significant activities as: meeting at Spanish Cooperative Union, meeting at one of the most famous Centers for Apiculture Studies and Agriculture - APISCAM in Europe, Madrid Beekeeping Association – visit to bee farms, (how to turn beekeeping into a source of tourism, how is bio honey made, how is it packed and sold?), visit to honey products industries (creams, shampoos, masks). In addition, there will be held a meeting with European project team – Planning Future Joint Projects in Beekeeping at the University of Madrid. The implementation of the certificate courses and joint EU projects are planned within the framework of the collaboration.

The president of Caucasus Trading House is Mr. Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, CIU Deputy Rector in International Relations, Director - Research and Innovation for Business Development Decisions, chairperson – Mr. Valeri Gulbani. The organization has two representatives in Spain – CIU representatives in Spain – Ms. Ketevan Gorgiladze and Mr. Esteban Lozano.
